Profiles:
The Blueskye Research and Design Group is a collective of information and design specialists. Our group is small but talented, including:
President/Project Manager: Mina Patel
Mina has been an experienced Researcher for over 15 years, specializing in qualitative research including Historical Studies, Political Science, Legal and Criminal Justice Studies, and Policy Studies. She has also worked extensively as an Editor and Writer. Mina has worked on projects for: Oxford University Press, The Canadian Fallen Heroes Foundation, Groupe ADGA, Dr Jeong Sim (creator of the designer egg), University of Alberta (Department of English), and the Heritage Community Foundation. Mina is the project manager/researcher/funding co-ordinator for all of Blueskye’s projects.
Senior Writer: Tereasa Maillie
Tereasa has a background in theatre, radio broadcasting and writing. She also has over ten years experience as a researcher in the areas of Historical Studies and Cultural Studies. Tereasa has worked on various research and media projects, including ones for
the Heritage Community Foundation, University of Alberta's History and Classics Department and Gas & Light Theatre Productions. Tereasa is currently working on media packages for various companies and writing content for the Fort Edmonton Project.
Senior Designer: Ryan Majeau
Ryan is the creative designer behind all of our projects with over seven years of design experience designing websites, brochures, newsletters, magazines, and promotional materials, just to name some of his accomplishments. Ryan helps our clients create identities that make an impact, he makes all of the image and design decisions within Blueskye so if you like what you see then thank Ryan.
Education Content Manager: David Baker
David has over 30 years experience as an educator, working in schools and developing curriculum for all education levels. David is now putting his invaluable talents towards working as a Researcher. David’s experience as an educator allows us to concentrate our educational research projects to the current Alberta curriculum. He is currently working with Blueskye on the Fort Edmonton Project, developing a learning plan by combining history and media into a program for grades K-12.
