Looks like there’s one more feature to add to the list of 200+ that came with the iOS 5 update. Rapid battery drain. Initial reports point to the location based Time Zone setting as the cause. The truth is Apple has no real answers at this time.

When I bought my iPad 2 I opted for one of Apple’s Smart Covers to protect it. They come in a bunch of colors and can fold up to become a stand. Now it does one other thing—lets someone access my iPad without a passcode. Smart hey? Not so much.

Okay so last week was iOS5 “Release Date” Eve – now it’s actual iOS5 Eve. Hours from now we can all install the software which will change the iPhone forever (and no, I’m not talking about Siri). Along with the shiny new OS comes iCloud. All of your media can now be accessed from wherever you are. Could it get any better?

If you haven’t already heard, Apple is having a little press event on October 4. We’ll learn about the next iPhone and when we can get iOS5! Remember all of those cool features we heard about back in June? One feature that’s going to get some major usage once everyone upgrades is Twitter.
