Okay so last week was iOS5 “Release Date” Eve – now it’s actual iOS5 Eve. Hours from now we can all install the software which will change the iPhone forever (and no, I’m not talking about Siri). Along with the shiny new OS comes iCloud. All of your media can now be accessed from wherever you are. Could it get any better?

There have been so many times I’ve wanted to hear a song that’s not on my phone. I’m sure the same thing has happened to you. Soon you won’t have to wait until you get home anymore to fix that problem. Poof—you can just add the song to your phone. Just like that!

What about iMessage? Finally Apple’s answer to the long coveted BlackBerry BBM! That’s really the only feature BlackBerry owners have to trump those with iPhones (or maybe something about a keyboard?). Owning an iPhone means no BBM, so no way! Well now Apple fanboys—and girls—alike will have their own cool kids messenger.

Last but not least, GPS based reminders. I will never forget to get food on my way home from work again!

With over 200 other features, who needs to get a 4S? Well, besides the 1 million+ people who already pre-ordered. The new iOS5 will give anyone’s standard 4 model enough of a facelift to make it into a 4+. That’s good enough, right?

If you haven’t done so yet, update iTunes to 10.5. You don’t want to be stuck having to update iTunes first before taking your phone to a whole new level do you?
