This section is more independent and self motivated. It spawned out of a desire to rid my CD collection of endless generic CDR labels from CDs I made for my own personal listening habits. The solution to this was to design case inserts and disc labels to make the albums appear as authentic as possible. I use a strong visual style here with a common use of overlapping transparencies to create multi-layered images. Simply, I used a philosophy of ‘organinzed chaos’, where the image looks crazy and busy, but everything is where it should be, making a nice unified finished piece.
