Design Team: Ryan Majeau Designed: June 2001 Challenge: Design a car for the year 2010? Solution: Taking literal and symbolic reference from the Phoenix, the design team attempted to embody its essence into a car’s design. The Phoenix is known for its speed, its’ ability to collect sensory information from its’ environment, and for it’s beauty. It’s those qualities we envisioned for this car. Though the Phoenix has a roomier back seat and larger trunk, it is still a sports car. With controls centered around the driver, everything is in reach, allowing for easier navigation.
